I really think that this drawing influenced how I see myself as an artist. I put a lot of time and detail into it, and even restarted several times to make sure each feature was just right. It turned out very well and is something I am quite proud of because I think it is my best sketch that I have done so far. If you compare the portraits in my sketch book from when we first started the unit to this one, you can defiantly see a lot of improvement.  The subject of my piece is a model named Cara Delevingne. I chose to draw her because of her distinct features like her dark eyebrows and cheek bones. I think I really captured her unique look in the portrait and you can defiantly recognise Cara. I really can see how much better I am after putting so much effort into the portrait unit.
